To further understand the development level of medical students' identity and their education service needs during their growth, and promote medical education quality, this study used the Self-identity Status Scale and the Educational Service Needs Questionnaire to investigate 1 188 undergraduates in Capital Medical University, and effectively recovered 1 017 questionnaires. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the scores of three dimensions of medical students' self-identity and the distribution of self-identity status among different grades (P>0.05). In all grades, the average score of "past crisis" was the lowest, and the proportion of "identity diffusion - positive delayed intermediate status (D-M status)" was the highest. It showed 52.51% medical students expressed their demands for schools to carry out elective courses on the theme of self-exploration. The most important factor influencing medical students' in-depth understanding of themselves was the "parenting style of the original family", which accounted for 84.56%, followed by "influence of friends", which accounted for 75.12%. The top three ways medical students hope to improve their self-cognition are: "interaction and communication among friends" 69.32%, "reading books and literature"60.08%, and "participating in social practice" 50.93%. The main problem in medical students' self-identity development is the contradiction between the need for positive self-growth and the limitation of self-exploration. Educators should strengthen the inspiration of medical students' self-consciousness, pay attention to the combination of "theory" and "practice", improve education service mode and optimize the elements of ideological and political education.

The teaching of traditional Chinese medicine classic courses is the core of traditional Chinese medicine education. The author has summarized years of experience in teaching the course Treatise on Febrile Diseases and formed the course of Pondering on Treatise on Febrile Diseases to students majoring in nine-year undergraduate and doctoral programs in traditional Chinese medicine. This course adopted theme-based teaching. In the early stage of simulated medical record teaching research, 24 teaching themes were condensed. Through various methods such as classroom questioning, organizing discussions, consulting literature, and sharing experiences, the course stimulates students' learning enthusiasm and subjective initiative. In response to the multidimensional teaching and training model, in addition to the traditional subjective written test, this course also attempts to introduce various assessment methods such as students trial batch, trial diagnosis, trial writing and trial lecture, in order to explore the construction of a classification and evaluation system for this course. Besides students of traditional Chinese medicine undergraduate and doctoral programs, this teaching and evaluation model can also be expanded and attempted to conduct tiered teaching assessments in related courses such as traditional Chinese medicine graduate students and clinical Chinese medicine practitioners, in order to cultivate their post competence.

High-level compound medical talents are the main driving force for the high-quality development of China's healthcare industry, particularly in responding to future medical challenges and achieving the "Healthy China 2030" goal. Under the background of New Medicine, promoting interdisciplinary integration is crucial for innovative talent training. Although the development level of China's medical education in the new era has been steadily improving, there are still outstanding problems such as the continuous differentiation of medical disciplines, insufficient aggregation, insufficient concentration of efforts, insufficient innovativeness of medical talents, as well as the quality of medical personnel training to be improved. This study, based on the new positioning of medical education development in industry-specific institutions, proposes a "major discipline" and "major science" talent training model under the perspective of multidisciplinary integration. It designs an innovative talent teaching path for the new medical science based on the instructional system design (ISD) model and a "Future Medicine+" curriculum system integrating multiple disciplines. The study demonstrates and evaluates the implementation effects of this curriculum system, promoting further enhancement in the value of multidisciplinary integration and innovative education.
