Research advances in laboratory detection techniques for monkeypox virus
At present,the spread of monkeypox virus epidemic breaks the law of regional prevalence and shows the characteristics of worldwide prevalence. Therefore,precontrol of monkeypox epidemic has become a key issue around the world,and an effective laboratory virus detection method is the key to epidemic prevention and control. There is currently a set of complete procedures for the detection of monkeypox virus,involving virus isolation and culture,detection of antigens and antibodies,and nucleic acid detection with the methods such as polymerase chain reaction,isothermal amplification, and the emerging CRISPR/Cas nucleic acid detection technique. This article reviews the principles,characteristics and defects of the laboratory detection of monkeypox virus,so as to provide a reference for the prevention and control of monkeypox virus epidemic.
