Objectives The path and strategy of empowering vocational education in the feed industry with new quality productivity was studied and the mode of training talents in vocational education in the feed industry was reconstructed to achieve the high-quality development of vocational education. Methods The essential characteristics of new quality productivity and the core essence of vocational education in the feed industry were analyzed. The breakthrough points for empowering the innovative development of vocational education in the feed industry with new quality productivity were studied. Results The current trend and bottlenecks of developing vocational education in the feed industry in China included a lack of conceptual understanding, unreasonable structure, unscientific models, and institutional construction. The connotation and path of high-quality development of vocational education in the feed industry was discussed from three levels including the theory of value, epistemology, and methodology. It was proposed to focus on the role of administrative entities in overall planning, further promote the cooperation between institutions and enterprises, and build an infrastructure of teaching including high quality majors, courses, teachers, bases, and textbooks to further leverage the functions of industry platforms. Conclusions Deepening the integration of industry and education and empowering vocational education with digital intelligence is conducive to innovating the mechanism of training talents in vocational education in the feed industry, improving the quality of talent cultivation in the feed industry, and achieving the high-quality development of vocational education in the feed industry.
