Objectives In order to better adapt to the technological innovation and the change of talent demand in the fishery industry, the paper explores the cultivation of aquatic artisans talents in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of Joint- education of industrial colleges. Methods Tongwei Industrial College was established through cooperation with Tongwei Shares, a leading aquatic enterprise, to build a high-level platform for industry-university-research education, to reconstruct the curriculum system, to adjust the personnel training mode, and to deeply integrate production and education. Results With the five-docking, three-cycle and three-guidance, the school-enterprise collaborative education model significantly improved the quality of talent training and the participation of enterprises. Conclusions From the perspective of Joint education in industrial colleges, deep integration of production and education, collaboration between schools and enterprises, and cultivation of aquatic artisans talents can not only meet the technical and talent needs of the industry, but also promote the close combination of education and industry,laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the aquatic industry.
