Research Progress in Preparation of Spherical Ethoxylated Magnesium Carriers
The carrier of ethoxylmagnesium [Mg(OEt)2] is characterized by a simple preparation process, adjustable particle size and high sphericity. The Mg(OEt)2 carrier Ziegler-Natta catalyst has many advantages, such as high activity, good hydrogen regulation sensitivity, good stereoregulation and strong copolymerization ability, which has been an important part of polyolefin catalyst research. In this paper, the preparation methods, preparation mechanism and factors affecting the preparation of Mg(OEt)2 spherical carrier in recent decades were reviewed. The effects of feeding mode, feeding ratio and reaction temperature and main raw material on the morphology and particle size distribution of Mg(OEt)2 were emphatically introduced, and the development trend of industrial Mg(OEt)2 carrier in preparation process optimization and development in the future was prospected in order to improve the competitiveness of polyolefin catalysts in China.
