Preparation of PVC/g-C3N4 Composites and Its Photocatalytic Purification of Wastewater
Photocatalytic technology has a good potential in wastewater treatment, but powder catalyst is easy to cause secondary pollution in use. In this paper, graphite phase carbon nitride (g-C3N4) was compounded with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin to prepare supported PVC/g-C3N4 photocatalytic composites, and its catalytic performance and stability were studied. The results showed that the loading of g-C3N4 to PVC effectively reduced the agglomeration of g-C3N4 and showed good catalytic performance. The concentration of methyl orange and rhodamine B in PVC/g-C3N4-3 was the lowest after 60 min of illumination, and it showed good stability after 10 cycles. The photocatalytic experiments of different types of sewage show that PVC/g-C3N4-3 composite has good photocatalytic sewage purification performance and can be effectively used for water pollution treatment.
