Abstract

The spirit of a scientist holds significant value for scientific researchers, being an essential quality for both supervisors and graduate students. In the context of ideological and political education, disciplinary group education plays a vital role for TCM graduate students. Integrating the scientist spirit into this educational framework supports the cultivation of students' ideals and beliefs, advances the mission of nurturing virtue, and contributes to achieving the strategic goal of strengthening the nation through science and technology. However, current challenges in TCM graduate disciplinary groups include delayed team development, fragmented educational content, a lack of innovative models, and an incomplete system. To foster comprehensive development in TCM graduate students and enhance educational outcomes, this study proposes: at the personnel level, developing a high-quality faculty team for TCM graduate disciplinary groups; at the content level, integrating and strengthening the scientist spirit in TCM graduate education; at the strategic level, exploring innovative models for embedding the scientist spirit; and at the mechanism level, establishing an evaluation system for the scientist spirit in TCM graduate education.
