Peer feedback was integrated into the evaluation system for biochemistry assignments to promote deep learning， with the aim of fully activating students' intrinsic motivation and enhancing their core competencies. The study found that peer feedback， following relevant training and guidance， significantly increased student participation in class. Through the process of task completion and providing peer feedback， students' skills in application， analysis， collaboration， evaluation， reflection， and creativity were progressively developed， ultimately achieving the goal of deep learning.
