Objective By visualizing the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China， the hot spots and trends of innovation and entrepreneurship education research are deeply explored， and the research blueprint in this field is comprehensively displayed. Methods Using CiteSpace analysis software， the literature of core journals of innovation and entrepreneurship education in CNKI database on 2876 articles from 2001 to 2023 was analyzed by bibliometrics. Results Research has found that the research trend of innovation and entrepreneurship education had experienced the stage of embryonic development， accelerated development and high-speed development， and was in a mature systole stage at present. The key words of the research mainly include entrepreneurship education， talent training， integration of production and education， collaborative education， etc. The research direction focuses on the policy environment， social support system and talent training model of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Conclusion The academic research on innovation and entrepreneurship education in China basically follows up with the practice， reform and development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities， mainly focusing on entrepreneurship education and innovative talent training， and the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education with various new education plans and education models is the future research trend.
